Fifth Grade Promotion
Please save the date and time for your fifth grade student promotion and party! On the last day of school (June 14, 2024, 1:45-2:45), students will have a brief promotion ceremony held outdoors at Irvington School from 1:45-2:00, followed immediately by a fun fifth grade party from 2:00-2:45 (see sign up to support!), with dismissal at 3:00. Please come as early as 1:30 to create a “clap out” tunnel for our fifth grade students to walk through by 1:45 at the rear school east side exit (by Ms. Kara’s room outside). Families who are available for supporting setting up, tearing down, and providing some light snacks or easy crafts and yard games are encouraged to connect with Chase Szucs via email (cszucs@pps.net) to align support. We are excited to share this special day with your families!
Connect to Kindergarten Popsicle Party
Incoming kindergarteners are invited to a popsicle party on Thursday, June 20, from 5:30-6:30pm! This is a great way for new students to meet their classmates and for families to network. Meet on the playground!
Irvington Filmmakers Debut!
The Irvington Filmmakers, an after-school class, will have their film premiere at our first student "movie night" on Monday, June 10. There will be two showings, 4:15pm and 4:45pm. All are welcome!

Message from Nurse Cam
If your student has any medication in the health room, it is time to pick them up! If it is emergency medication (inhalers, epi pens, seizures meds, etc), we do ask for you to wait until the end of the last day of school to pick up the medication if possible. The front office will be open for medication pick up until June 18. Any leftover medications will be destroyed. Unless your student has a self-medication agreement form on file, we cannot send any medications home with students.
If you are looking for healthcare over the summer, these Student Health Centers are open throughout the summer. This is also a great opportunity to get up on vaccines if your student needs to be caught up. Here are the 2024-2025 immunization requirements. If you have a student entering 7th grade, a Tdap (Tetanus, pertussis, and diphtheria) booster is a requirement.
