Monthly Virtue
To begin the new school year, we focus our attention on the first of our virtues - Faith.
Faith is the great virtue of believing in God and trusting that God is with us. A faithful person believes that we are created, guided by and destined to be reunited with God. A faithful person believes that God’s plan for us includes the right to be safe, especially at school.
A Faithful person…
Prays regularly and reverently
Learns from Scripture stories
Honors people’s God-given names
Assumes that there is good in everyone
Accepts the God-given worth of themselves and others
Let us pray for the grace and strength to be people of faith, people who can truly believe that God’s plan for us includes the right to be safe at school. Amen

Our Purdy's Chocolate Sale Fundraiser is well underway!
Thank you everyone for your support.

On these days, we will also have a square terminal available for those who do not wish to pay by cheque.
The prizes for our early bird draw and top sellers are on display in our trophy case in the front hallway.

Coat Drive
Save the Date: Coat Drive to Keep Our Community Cozy!
As the chilly weather arrives, we’re excited to kick off our annual Coat Drive from October 1-15! We’re collecting gently used coats for all ages, from newborns to adults, to donate to our local community center. Last year, we donated over 60 coats to displaced families from Ukraine. We'll share more details on where to drop off coats in the coming weeks.
Let’s work together to keep everyone warm this winter!

During September, we reflect on the Seven Sorrows of Mary.
We offer our prayers this month to our Blessed Mother, who, through her seven sorrows, shares in our pain and suffering. Through her intercession, we pray for the sick and those who care for them, that both may find their faith and hope renewed and deepened. We pray to the Lord.
