A Letter From Headmaster Johnson
Dear Lion Parents,
Just a quick reminder that all scholars need to have their student ID with them at lunch. It is so much quicker for us to scan their ID rather than punching in their student number. Upper scholars will be rewarded by being "fast passed" to the front of the line with their ID, so ensure that your child has their student ID with them at all times.
On Tuesday evening, we held a College Information Night and had very good participation from parents. Mrs. Flannagan shared some good statistics about SJCA graduates. One fact that really sticks out to me is the number of Bright Future Scholarships awarded to graduates of SJCA. Just this past year, there were 15 Bright Future Scholarships awarded, that's half of our graduating class. Additionally, our college acceptance rate is much higher than the schools around us, including four full-ride scholarships to the University of Florida. (We have more statistics for you below).
Even though our mission is to form and develop our scholars to be good citizens, college acceptance and success is a serious by-product of what we do. If your desire is good college acceptance, then SJCA is just the right place to be. Your child can receive an excellent education, and you can have a peace of mind about sending them to a good college.
Thank you for being an integral part of St Johns Classical Academy!
LION STRONG!
Mr. Johnson
