Welcome, Bluejacket Families!

The start of the school year has arrived and we have had so much fun meeting families this week! Our preschool rooms have been buzzing with excitement, (and maybe a few tears!). ECFE classes began today at both Cambridge and Isanti Primary Schools. Part of the preschool and ECFE experience is that families can build community with one another. One of the strategic priorities from our Strategic Plan states "We will build and foster positive personal relationships with the family and the community". Free childcare is provided. Finally, there are several ways to access help for your family, whether it be food, school supplies, clothing, winter gear and more. Drop Off/Pick up Procedures

As you know, the start and the end times of the school day can be extra busy with foot traffic, vehicles and buses. We stagger preschool start and end times 10 minutes after the start and end time of the rest of the building. We ask preschool families to avoid pulling up to the school, or driving in the carpool line until the main traffic from the complex clears out. Also, please watch for any direction from crossing guards, they are there to keep children and families safe!

Safety & Security Protocols

Ensuring the safety of our students, staff, and families is always our top priority. This summer, we worked to further strengthen our safety procedures and align with best practices. From keeping our exterior doors locked during school hours to regular emergency drills, these updates help us create a secure and welcoming environment for everyone. Upcoming Event for Parents - FREE

In this upcoming workshop, Erin Walsh will help make sense of conflicting advice about screen time for children. She will discuss how technology can impact children's learning and development, and explore practical strategies for thriving in a screen-dominated world. This event is free, but please register.

Preschool Tuition Invoices

Please note that the September preschool invoices have been sent out and are due by 9/16/2024. Please log into your Eleyo account to make a payment. As a reminder, if your invoice is not paid by 9/26/24 a $20 late fee will be applied. Contact the Early Childhood office if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you!

Attendance Line

Preschool and ECFE families should call our attendance line at 763-691-6693 (this is for BOTH sites) to report an absence. Please do not call Isanti Primary School or Cambridge Intermediate school unless are reporting an absence in that building as well. Thank you!

Birthday Celebrations in Preschool

If you choose to send something with your child, please send something that can be sent home in backpacks at the end of the school day (ex-stickers, individually wrapped snack). We ask that you do not send any cupcakes as we won’t be able to serve them during the school day.
