ALL THE BUZZ
JULY 2024
Dear Caldwell Family,
I hope you are having a fantastic summer break and enjoying the time spent with your families. Our 2024-2025 school year is fast approaching, and we are excited to inform you about some of our new updates.
We have received preliminary STAAR results and are very pleased with the outcome. STAAR scores met or exceeded the state average on 18 out of 21 tests which is a significant increase compared to the 2022-2023 scores. Our staff and students definitely worked hard to accomplish these scores.
As you visit our campuses, you will see that maintenance and grounds staff are busy working on projects and getting ready for the upcoming year. From installing new doors and painting projects to working on the grounds, the campuses are getting ready for the new year. We would also like to report that there will be no increase for school meals this year as they will be the same as last year.
The 2024-2025 Student Code of Conduct and Student Handbook were approved during this month’s meeting. These documents can be found on the CISD website.
In the next few weeks, we will have teachers and students back on campus to begin the new year. I can’t wait to see all of you as you return back to school. Enjoy the remainder of your summer!
Sincerely,
Pam Evans
Secretary, Caldwell ISD Board of Trustees
