Parents and Community! We need bottled water and hard candy for testing! We have 700 students and 4 different tests! Thats 2,800 bottles of water and candy bags! We want your student to stay focused and hydrated. Please consider donating a case of water and any type of wrapped hard candy for our testing days!

Parents! We are finding that we cannot contact parents via the phone numbers and emails listed in PowerSchool. If your child has an emergency on campus and/or if an administrator/teacher needs to you reach you we are unable! This is very unsafe for your child and prevents us from updating you with what's going on here at Comstock! Please update your information by emailing us your new information at brvilla@dallasisd.org. Please include your students name, grade level, and ID number (if you know it). We will update our records for you!

Parents! We need your help in ensuring students are coming to school each day! Students who are not in school 90% or more percent of the time will not be promoted to the next grade level. Also, when they miss school, they miss CRITICAL instructional time! We want to see your students face EVERY DAY, ALL DAY! Please get them to school each and every day so we can engage them to change their futures! Doors open daily at 8:05a.m.

Coming Up

April 8- Solar Eclipse (See below if you wish for your child NOT to participate)

We will be having SPECIAL ACTIVITIES planned for the solar eclipse on April 8, including viewing the eclipse. If you wish for your child NOT to participate please let us know as soon as possible by emailing Ms. Bruce at cesch@dallasisd.org.

We will take our first round of assessments in just 3 short weeks! Please ensure that your child is in class daily on time so that we may continuously prepare them for success.

Please ensure that students do not bring any prohibited items on campus. These items will be confiscated and will not be returned. Prohibited items include but not limited to: ski masks, perfumes/body sprays, sunglasses (inside the building), hats, bonnets, blankets, rat tail combs, lasers, facial jewelry, chips/snacks (not in a lunch form), open containers, slippers, Crocs, houseshoes, and hooded sweatshirts (inside the building with hoods on).
