The Virginia Lottery Encourages You to Thank a Teacher
Enter the Virginia Lottery’s Thank a Teacher Art Contest! The Virginia Lottery is looking for student artwork to grace the 2025 Thank a Teacher thank-you notes that will be distributed to hundreds of thousands of public school teachers across the state during National Teacher Appreciation week in May.
There is no theme for the Art Contest, but students are encouraged to create art that expresses their gratitude for Virginia’s K-12 public school teachers. The Lottery will accept submissions online at thankateacherva.com through February 3, 2025. One winner will be selected at each of three levels: elementary, middle and high school. The school that each winner attends will receive $2,000 from The Supply Room. The winning artists will receive a $200 Visa® gift card in addition to having their original artwork featured on thank-you notes distributed across Virginia.
