A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Important Safety Updates and Reminders 🚨
Dear Families,
I hope this message finds you well. I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for your continued support in keeping our school community safe.
As part of our commitment to ensuring a safe environment for our students, we are in the process of updating our camera system to enhance security measures. This upgrade will help us maintain a safe and secure atmosphere for everyone at our school. We will also continue our practice of school safety drills, which include our ALICE drills and fire drills.
With the hunting season now in session, I encourage you to talk with your child about staying safe and aware of their surroundings during this time.
Extended Absence Reminder 📅
If you are planning on taking your student/s out of school for an extended period of time, meaning beyond three days, please make sure you complete the extended absence FORM in the main office at least a week in advance. As a reminder, students are responsible for making up all missed schoolwork upon return of an absence. Families may want to check in with classroom teachers before or after an extended absence to make sure your student/s are on track with learning.
Lastly, please remember to keep all toys at home. This helps us prevent distractions in the classroom and ensures a focused learning environment.
Thank you for your continued support. Together, we can keep our school community safe and thriving.
Best regards,
Nina Willette
