Coronado High School Staff Recognized for Lifesaving Efforts
A life was saved at Coronado High School thanks to the extraordinary efforts of 10 staff members. Mayor Michelle Romero recently presented certificates of recognition, acknowledging their remarkable response to a student's medical emergency. We are immensely proud of these individuals and their ability to act decisively in a critical moment and keep our students safe.

Are you ready to embark on an unforgettable journey in leadership and civic engagement? Look no further than the American Legion's Nevada Girls State and Boys State programs. Held annually at the University of Nevada-Reno campus in Reno, these programs offer a hands-on experience in democratic processes and governance. Through setting up their own miniature governments and participating in mock legislative sessions, delegates gain invaluable insight into the workings of city, county, and state administrations. Engage in lively debates, campaign for office, and hone your leadership skills alongside like-minded peers. Join us for an empowering week of learning, friendship, and growth at Girls State and Boys State this summer!

Are you a graduating student-athlete being recruited by an NCAA Division I or II school? You must request final amateurism certification from the NCAA Eligibility Center before you can be eligible to practice, compete and receive athletics aid in college.
