Great American Teach In
The Great American Teach-In is on November 22, 2024 from 10am-3pm. It is an inspiring event that invites community members, especially parents, to share their knowledge, experiences, and skills with students. This annual event brings real-world experiences into the classroom, allowing students to learn about a range of careers, hobbies, and life lessons directly from people in their community.
We are excited to invite parents to participate! Whether you work in an office, teach, build, create, care for others, or even have a unique hobby or travel experience, we’d love for you to share it with our students. This is a wonderful chance to inspire and motivate the next generation by offering them a glimpse into various career paths and life stories. Your involvement will make a difference, spark curiosity, and open new doors for students.
If you’re interested in participating, please let us know. We’ll work with you to make it a fun and engaging session for our students. Thank you for considering this opportunity to help shape young minds and share your passion!
Sea Turtle Ambassadors
We are thrilled to announce that Sea Turtle Ambassadors has been awarded a grant from the Pasco Education Foundation! This support is a tremendous boost to our mission of educating and engaging our community in marine conservation and sea turtle protection.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Pasco Education Foundation for their commitment to fostering environmental education and helping us expand our outreach and impact. With their support, we’re excited to continue inspiring young minds and empowering our community to protect and preserve our coastal ecosystem.
Thank you, Pasco Education Foundation, for helping us make a difference!
Dental Bus Coming to Our School!
We’re excited to announce that the Dental Bus will be visiting our school from November 12–15. If you signed and returned the permission slip, your child will have the opportunity to receive dental care right here at school. This is a convenient way to ensure your child’s dental health is up-to-date without needing to schedule an outside appointment.
Thank you for supporting your child’s health and wellness!
