Chameleons RISE: Raising Intentionality Strengthening Expectations for students, teachers, administration, and families.
Week: 36: 4/22/24-4/26/24
Dear GQES Families,
It's an annual time of the school year where we pay homage to Judge John Handley for his endowment to the students of Winchester City. Tomorrow, 4/22/24, ten of our GQES students will be a part of the annual March to the Tomb honorary ceremony as will all the other schools in WPS. We are grateful for past, present, and future support of public education!!!
GQES families, please help us by making sure your child is at school on time, and ready to learn. On our daily video announcements EVERY DAY, Mr. Slezak says there is one goal at GQES for every Chameleon and that is to LEARN. We have one behavioral goal every day, every place, and with everyone, and that is our BE KIND expectation by having:
1. Smiling Faces
2. Listening Ears
3. Helping Hands
4. Respecting Boundaries
5. Doing Our Best on All Learning Tasks
****As always, if you have questions or concerns about your child's learning or progress, please contact your child's teacher to be able to partner with your child's teacher to help them learn, grow, and thrive!!!
