Bolt's Bulletin
October 2024
Principal Message
As we move into October, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support you have shown to our school community. Your involvement plays a crucial role in helping us provide the best possible experience for our students.
I especially want to thank you for your tremendous support of our Boosterthon fundraiser. Whether through donations, volunteering, or simply cheering on our students, your commitment has been truly inspiring. With your help, we were able to exceed our goals, and these funds will go a long way toward enhancing our programs and opportunities for every student.
Additionally, parent-teacher conferences are just around the corner. These conferences are a wonderful opportunity to connect with your child's teachers, discuss progress, and collaborate on ways to support their growth. We value your insights and look forward to working together to ensure your child’s success.
As we look ahead, October is shaping up to be an exciting month filled with learning, growth, and fun. Please continue to stay engaged with our school events, and know that we appreciate every effort you make to strengthen our community.
Together, we are making a real difference!
Warm regards,
Erik A. Olson
Principal
Habit 1: Be Proactive
This month we'll be learning about Habit 1: Be Proactive.
Counseling Corner
As parents and caregivers, you are your child’s first and most important teachers, and play a vital role in their social, emotional, and academic development. Here at Skyline our classroom teachers are here to support you in this, and the Second Step program is one of the tools they’re using.
The Second Step program helps children learn social-emotional skills such as responsible decision-making, working together to solve problems, managing strong emotions, and getting along with others. These skills can help children succeed academically and socially.

Skyline PTO
Our school’s Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is an invaluable part of our community, working tirelessly to support our students, staff, and families. Through their dedication, they help organize events, fundraisers, and volunteer efforts that enrich our school experience. The PTO fosters a strong partnership between home and school, and we are grateful for their commitment to making our school a thriving place for everyone. We encourage all parents to get involved and join this wonderful group in making a difference!
