Olathe South High School
Principal's Corner
Happy FINAL Friday Falcons!
It is hard to believe that we now closing out the school year. It feels like only yesterday that we were welcoming our Falcons back. This week we had a lot of fun celebrating with our seniors. On Thursday, we practiced for graduation, held graduation for our CBR program, and a certain principals car got wrapped in plastic wrap and covered in glitter! It has truly been a great year at Olathe South. We look forward to continuing to grow and work on giving our students the best education in Olathe. I want to also thank each of you for your support in my first year as principal at South. In education we rely on our partnerships with our families, and this year I have enjoyed building relationships with each of you. Southside is the best side, in education and in community!
Go Falcons,
Dr. DeMaree

Summer 2024 Help Clinic Programs
See the flyers below for information on the different clinics being offered this summer.
ACT Boot Camp
This summer from June 3-6 there will be an ACT prep camp offered at Olathe South High School from 8 a.m. to noon. Additionally, there will be a camp offered from July 8-11, the times for which will be determined later (see the registration link below for more details). Each day students will spend time practicing and learning strategies for each section of the ACT under the direction of certified teachers in Language Arts and Math.
Students will get immediate feedback and individualized instruction as well as have the opportunity to focus on individual areas of weakness.
Especially if students are signed up to take the June 8th or July 13th ACT, this would be an excellent chance to review and improve in the days before the test.
The cost for the camp is $175, and you can register at the following link:
