Inside Centennial Schools
October 15, 2024
Connecting. Achieving. Preparing.
It was a great day for the annual "Go Around" the lake walk at Golden Lake Elementary. Not only did students get some steps in on a beautiful fall day, they also raised money for their school and each student finished with a gold medal.
The Great Apple Crunch
In honor of Farm to School Month, Centennial Schools participated in the Great Apple Crunch in October. All students received an apple from Pinetree Apple Orchard, White Bear Lake.
Students in Centennial's American Indian Education Program shared their culture and performed the Jingle Dance for students at Centennial Elementary.

Paving the Way to Opportunities
Centennial’s Journey Transition program is partnering with Able-IT, a local, non-profit information technologies company, founded by Top5 Technologies, to provide a new Computer Recycling class. While on campus, students experience hands-on training and learn how to disassemble desktops, laptops, all-in-one computers, servers, printers, and power distribution units.
Students who demonstrate proficiency with the required recycling skills then have the opportunity to move into an on-site internship at Top5 Technologies and assistance with job placement within the refurbished IT community.
