EHS Community Day
1st Place Winners Amazing Race
2nd Place Winners Amazing Race
3rd Place Winners Amazing Race
We just wrapped up our 3rd annual EHS Community Day on Wednesday, May 15th, and it was an absolute blast! The day kicked off with a warm welcome for our incoming freshmen class in the auditorium. It was so great to see all the new faces and share a bit of what makes our school special.
In the morning, we hosted an activity fair with over 60 different groups represented. From sports teams to clubs, there was something for everyone. Our 8th graders got a tour of the school, which was a great way for them to get a sneak peek of what’s to come.
During 5th hour, we all watched the Senior Awards Video during PAWS, which highlighted some incredible achievements of our seniors. To cap off the day, we had the Amazing Race in the afternoon. With 60 stations and over 1000 students participating on teams, it was a whirlwind of fun and excitement! Thanks to everyone who helped make this day unforgettable. Can't wait for next year!
Escape the Vape Video Challenge Winners
A big shoutout to Lydia Frome, Natalie Manley, and Jayla Daniels for taking third place in the Escape the Vape Video Challenge! These three were handed a check live on our Thursday morning Eagan AM show by two representatives from the Department of Health.
If you missed the live action or want to check out what our talented trio created, you can watch the winning entries here and catch their award presentation during Eagan AM here @ 3:35.
Thank you Lydia, Natalie, and Jayla for your awesome work and dedication to spreading awareness about vaping. We’re so proud and can’t wait to see what you do next! Congratulations!
Class of 2024 Academic Awards
Last Wednesday was a busy day. We had the Amazing Race in the afternoon and also watched the Class of 23/24 Awards Ceremony during 5th hour. Take 10 minutes out of your day to enjoy this video of our amazing seniors.
Honors Geometry Fun!
Our Honors Geometry Students have been working hard the past two weeks on their Tin Foil Projects! This project is an application of their knowledge of surface area. Students build, calculate and cover creative projects in tin foil and they are judged by EHS staff. It's great to see their creativity is shining through their projects.
