Dear Pleasant Ridge Families,

This week kicks off our Book Fair, running Monday through Thursday and March is Reading month. Be sure to check out the details below. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up here - we could not make these events a success without your help and greatly appreciate your support! We also invite you to join us for Bingo for Books on Tuesday from 6:30–8:00 PM. Don’t miss this exciting evening of games, ice cream, fun, and a chance to shop at the Book Fair!

Additionally, please note that Thursday and Friday are half days for students.

We look forward to a great week filled with reading and fun!

With Ramadan underway, should families need any specific accommodations for students related to fasting, resting, prayer, or other supports, please do not hesitate to reach out to your building principal and/or classroom teacher. We are dedicated to collaborating to ensure student needs are met so they can continue to learn and grow during this sacred month, and during any other important religious observance our families celebrate.

Elementary schools are excited to welcome incoming Young 5s and Kindergarten students, with an informational webinar scheduled for March 12 via Zoom at 6:30 p.m. (Note time adjustment!), and all new families will be invited to attend building walk-throughs scheduled in May.

Get ready for our anual spring concerts, featuring the exciting new addition of a Glow Show! Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more details.

March is reading month! In celebration, our second book fair of the 2024-2025 school year will be held March 3rd-6th with extended hours during our Bingo for Books event on March 4th. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up here - we could not make these events a success without your help and greatly appreciate your support!

Grab your beach towel or picnic blanket and head to PR for Bingo for Books on Tuesday, March 4th 6:30pm-8:00pm! Drop in for a quick round of bingo or stick around to enjoy some ice cream, make a bookmark, and shop the Scholastic book fair!

We still have some volunteer openings to assist with this fun event! If you would like to volunteer, please sign up here - we are grateful for your generosity of time and effort!

There will be a sensory-friendly space for individuals and families who may need it (location TBD).

We are suggesting a $5 donation per family for the event.
