Tiger News
Hello parents and guardians,
Thank you for being flexible during our snow day! We hope you enjoyed the time off. Last week we kicked off a new ELA unit about the Titanic. This unit will conclude with a research paper. As the weeks go on, please check in with your student to make sure they are on track and do not fall behind. This week we have started an introductory session and will dig deeper into the research next week. Thank you all in advance for supporting your student!

What's Going On In Model & Design?
Families,
“We like to build it build it!”
6th graders have been working hard to assemble and draw nets of their unique puzzle cubes. Next, they will see if their documentation is detailed enough for another group to assemble their puzzle cube.
Then, will spend the next few periods creating accurate sketches of their designs.
In 6th grade we are doing, learning, growing.

We have completed the KELPA testing. Next, we will locate and identify adjectives in text. Students will create a craft to help them remember what an adjective is. They will learn that adjectives make our writing much more exciting to read.
