This month's Panther focus: "RESPONSIBILITY"
Dear Families,
All is well here at PV! After three days of indoor recess, we were thrilled to enjoy some outdoor time today. As we settle into the heart of winter, a gentle reminder to ensure students are dressed appropriately for the weather. All students attend recess daily unless the temperature or wind chill is below 20 degrees, at which point we have indoor recess. Please prepare your child accordingly with warm clothing, hats, and gloves. Additionally, students can only play in the snow areas if they have their snow gear, so don’t forget those boots and snow pants!
Here are a few quick reminders about upcoming events and updates:
Winter Assessments:
We have completed our winter assessments, and reports will soon be sent home. In class, teachers are reviewing class and individual student growth and will be setting goals to ensure continued progress. We encourage students to dedicate at least 20 minutes daily to reading and 20 minutes to math using district-approved resources such as DreamBox, Lexia, or simply enjoying a favorite book. Let’s capitalize on their natural curiosity and desire to learn by providing them with the tools and support they need!Math Night – Thursday, January 30, 6–7 PM:
Join us for a fun and interactive evening exploring how important and exciting math can be. We have fantastic activities planned for students, parents, and siblings. We can’t wait to see you there!International Mother Language/Cultural Night – Thursday, February 20:
