Parent Information
Neuqua Valley Football
Neuqua Valley welcomes its future Wildcats to all athletic events, and they love to see middle school students and families showing their school spirit. Middle school students are encouraged and welcome to attend tonight's football game as long as they are accompanied by a parent at all times. Middle school students who attempt to enter without a parent will be turned away. We are kindly reminding our Pioneers to represent Gregory in a positive manner by demonstrating the 3Rs (Respect, Responsibility, and Relationships) on and off campus.
Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month
The Student Services department will be presenting in classes throughout the month of September
beginning next week in support of Suicide Prevention & Awareness Month. We will
spend one class period educating students about teen depression, the signs of suicide and how to
get help. We hope this class discussion helps create awareness, eliminates the stigma associated
with mental illness, and empowers teens to take charge of their mental health. Please contact your
student’s school counselor with any questions, concerns, or if you would prefer to opt out of the
lesson. You can also preview our presentation in your student’s Counselor Connection Google
Classroom.
Late Arrivals to School
At Gregory, it’s important that all students start their day on time and ready to learn. If your child arrives late to school, please remember that a parent or guardian must accompany them to the office and sign them in. This allows us to ensure your child's safety and have a clear understanding of the reason for their tardiness. We understand that occasional delays happen, and we appreciate your partnership in ensuring our students are set up for success every day. Thank you for your support!
Restaurant Night!
Please join us on September 19th at Smashburger in South Naperville! The Gregory staff will be there from 5-7 PM, some of us in costume, ready to serve you! If you can't make it from 5-7, you can still support Gregory because 20% of all sales will go directly to our building from 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM. Hope to see you there!
District Parent University
The district is hosting a Parent University at Still Middle School to discuss restorative practices. If you've heard this term and are wondering what it's all about, please join us! Details below!

NOTICE REGARDING DROP OFF ITEMS
Gregory Middle School has established procedures for dropping off forgotten items such as Chromebooks, lunches, and assignments. However, these procedures are not intended to be used daily. For example, parents should not plan on dropping off lunch for their child multiple times per week. Our procedures are put in place for rare occasions when items are forgotten. This is in an effort to reduce unnecessary traffic through our main entrance for safety purposes. The safety and security of our students and staff is our top priority, and Gregory is moving to align with other district buildings by reducing the amount of unnecessary traffic through our main entrance.
6th Grade Physicals
All 6th grade students are required to have a school physical and immunizations on file in the health office by October 15, 2024. If we do not have the proper documentation on file by this date, students will be excluded from school until the documentation is received.
