We’re thrilled to welcome our newest Pioneers with The Amazing 6th Grade Race, an exciting event designed exclusively for our incoming 6th graders. This fun-filled experience helps our newest students get to know the building, meet staff and classmates, and start feeling at home before the school year begins.

Please note: This event is only for students entering 6th grade at Gregory this fall. More details, including registration information and dates, can be found HERE.

We can’t wait to meet our new Pioneers and help them start strong!

We are excited to offer two Gregory Preview Days for students and families who would like a chance to get comfortable in the building before the first day of school. This is a great opportunity to walk your schedule, practice opening your locker, and explore the school at your own pace.

Registration is not required. You are welcome to attend whenever it works best for you.

For those that cannot attend these days, we will have the building open on Monday, August 11 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM for a self-guided walk the building. This time is just for students and parents to walk their schedule, check into their lockers and get familiar with the space. Please note that the building will be open but other items/services/events will not be available at this time.

Join us on August 25th starting at 4:00 for our Back to School BBQ featuring delicious food from 5Bs BBQ. While presale is necessary for purchasing food, you do not need to buy food to attend. This is a BYOF (bring your own fun) event where families are encouraged to bring blankets (or tables and chairs), outdoor games like bags, picnic supplies, music and anything else that helps them relax and enjoy quality time together before the school year really picks up!

For our athletes, there will be an opportunity to meet the coaches and possibly catch a scrimmage.

This is a community gathering so grab your neighbor, come as you are, bring your favorite outdoor games or blankets, and enjoy a fun and easy evening with friends and family.

Bus route details and MyStop tracking information will be available beginning Friday evening, August 15, in ParentVUE. All transportation assignments will go live at that time, so please plan to log in over the weekend to review your child’s route information before the first day of school.

The first day of school is Tuesday, August 19th. We know there’s a lot to think about, but please don’t stress about the details just yet. We will be sharing more information and helpful reminders at the beginning of August to help you and your family get ready for a smooth start.

Don't forget that Wednesdays are late start days. Our first late start day will be School Day #2, Wednesday, August 20th. We will start 20 minutes later at 8:20.

Gregory 101 New Family Parent Night will be on September 3rd. We will host a special evening for new families and parents of 6th graders. This event is a great opportunity to learn more about life at Gregory and what to expect in the upcoming school year.

Families will be able to sign up for mini sessions tailored to help with topics that may be different from elementary school or other districts. More information and details on how to register will be shared soon.

On September 16th, we will host Curriculum Night for all Gregory families. This is a great opportunity to walk your student’s schedule, meet their teachers, and learn more about what students will be doing in their classes this year.

More information will be shared as the date approaches.

We encourage all families to become members of the Gregory PTA. Your membership supports programs and activities that directly benefit our students and staff. The PTA plays a vital role in building a positive and welcoming culture at Gregory.

Mark your calendars for September 30th for our annual Smashburger Restaurant Night! It’s a fun way to support Gregory while enjoying delicious food. A portion of the proceeds will go directly back to our school. Last year our event raised $600! Let's make this year event better! More information to follow as we get closer to the event. We hope to see you there!

All 6th grade students are required to have a current physical and immunizations on file in our health office by October 15, 2025. If we do not have this information by this date, students will be excluded until it is received.

Thank you to our Gregory families for your continued partnership and commitment to daily attendance. Because of your efforts, we’ve made great progress, and we’re excited to keep that momentum going into the new school year!
