Principal's Note

Hello McAuliffe Families,

With the start of November, the month of Thanksgiving, I wanted to take a quick moment to thank the McAuliffe community for all the support and assistance to our mission here every day. Without the support of the community, whether large or small, everyone lends a hand in some way, shape, or form and it truly is incredible to see. We can't accomplish what we accomplish here day in and day out with you all you so, thank you!


Speaking of accomplishments, the state has put out their school ratings based on data from the 2023-2024 school year. Our school maintained it's rating of being commedable, which is a great testament to the staff here in the building and also the students. A commendable rating means that we do not have any low achieving sub groups, are generally performing high, but not in the top 10 percent of school statewide. We will keep working towards the next step up which would be an exemplary rating meaning that we are performing within the top 10% of schools in the state.


This past month was a busy one, we had lots of fun activities for the students as well as lots of learning happening in our classrooms. Outside of the classrooms we have had several clubs up and running as well as our intramural boys and girls basketball happening as well.


We've got LOTS of important information and reminders below so be sure to keep reading. Of importance, we have our Parent-Teacher Conferences coming up at the end of the month, be sure to check out the information below on how to sign up.

First-Quarter Report Card Available November 8, 2024

First-quarter student report cards will be available in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal on Friday, November 8, at 3 p.m. Please follow the steps outlined below.

How to Access Student Report Cards

  1. Log in to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

  2. Select Documents in your Message Center

  3. Click 24-25 School Name under Report Card, and a pop-up window displaying your student’s report card will open in a new browser. If you cannot view your student’s report card, please ensure pop-up windows are enabled in your web browser.

Please call your school office if you need assistance accessing your Parent Portal.

Parent-Teacher Conferences and Fall Break - November 25 - 29

Parent-teacher conferences are Monday, November 25, and Tuesday, November 26. These one-to-one meetings are a great way to ask questions and review your student's academic, social, and behavioral progress in school.

  • VIRTUAL Schedule - Monday, November 25 from 1 - 4 p.m.

  • IN-PERSON Schedule - Monday, November 25, from 5 - 8 p.m. and Tuesday, November 26 from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

During our Fall Break, there is NO SCHOOL Monday, November 25 through Friday, November 29. School resumes on Monday, December 2.

Remembering Cathy & Alison Toy Collection - November 7 through December 19

The 21st annual Remembering Cathy & Alison Toy Drive runs Thursday, November 7, through Thursday, December 19. Please consider donating toys, small gifts, or gift certificates to benefit the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation, which supports kids and teens fighting cancer.

Important November dates to mark on your calendar:

  • 5th - No school (Election Day)

  • 11th - Veteran's Day

  • 12th - PTO Meeting

  • 14th - Picture Retake Day

  • 22nd - Half day of Student attendance

  • 25th and 26th - Parent-Teacher Conferences

  • 27th - 29th - No School (Thanksgiving Break)
