Impact STEAM Academy

We have a few slots available for your child(ren) to attend our Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math summer program. I AM STEAM is designed to provide an exciting and challenging hands-on activities that address your child's next school year learning expectations. For 4 weeks, June 16 to July 11, RISING K-6 grade students will explore A.I. (Artificial Intelligence), gaming, engineering design challenges, neuroscience, and so much more. The STEAM projects integrate reading, writing, and math skills to impact your child's academic achievement level.

The summer program theme is Emotions in Motion: STEM Adventures from the Inside Out.

Date: June 16 to July 11 (closed on June 19 & July 4)

Time: 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (includes breakfast, lunch, and snacks)

Location: Impact Church, 3594 Centerville Highway, Snellville, GA

Cost: $75 Application fee; $125 a week

Use the summer months to help your child(ren) learn how to write engaging essays. Impact Writing Tutoring Service is an online personalized support to build children's confidence in their ability to write. The one-on-one academic service assists kindergarten to 8th grade students in developing content, expanding ideas, organization, sentence fluency, and grammar. Expanding and using new vocabulary words is a major part of the tutoring process.

This specialized service should impact your child(ren)'s writing style in the following areas - descriptive. fiction, informational, persuasive, and responsive.

Format: Online

One Tutorial Session: One hour

Tutorial Sessions per Week: Varies according to the needs and preference

Dates: Scheduled with the tutor

Tutors: Certified Teachers

Cost: $45 an hour

The Achievery is a FREE digital learning platform of educational videos for K-12 students. The resources support academic learning in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. There are also videos on test preparation and digital learning skills.
