Before starting the 2021-2022 school year, all students entering or transferring into 11th grade will need proof of a meningococcal booster shot (MCV4), unless their first dose was received on or after their 16th birthday. Meningococcal disease is a serious bacterial illness that affects the brain and the spinal cord. Meningitis can cause shock, coma and death within hours of the first symptoms. To help protect your children and others from meningitis, Georgia law requires students be vaccinated against this disease, unless the child has an exemption.

If you should need a Certificate of Enrollment during the summer months, please request one through Ms. Smoak via email: Cheryl.Smoak@sccpss.com . These certificates usually have a validation of 30 days, however; if they are dated June 1 or after they are valid for the entire summer. Please allow 24 hours turnaround to have your Certificate processed. There is a $5 fee for the certificate which can be paid by registering on WWW.schoolcashonline.com and searching your child’s name. If you already have an account, simply go in and make the payment. If you should have questions, please email Ms. Smoak.
