Argyle ISD School Board Briefs
Monday night, Argyle ISD held its monthly regular board meeting. The AISD School Board met at 5 p.m. for an executive session prior to the open meeting. Our Board of Trustees conducted the open portion of the regularly scheduled monthly board meeting at 6 p.m. President Sam Slaton established a quorum and our Pledges to the Flags were led by Argyle South Elementary and some incredible AISD Veterans. President Sam Slaton conducted the Opening Prayer.
During the Consent portion of the Board Agenda, the Board unanimously approved a series of items related to different departmental areas. A full list of consent items can be viewed in the released agenda.

On Wednesday, all parents will receive an email from the district with a link to a feedback and comment form regarding the proposed middle school and high school attendance zone. We encourage all comments to be submitted through the provided link. All comments will be shared with the Board of Trustees.

Consider and Approve the Final Change Order for Jane Ruestmann Elementary School
Consideration and Approval of a Resolution Canvassing the Returns and Declaring the Results of a Tax Ratification Election (VATRE)
Consider Approval of a Resolution of Tax Levy for the 2024-2025 Fiscal Year
Consider and Approve 2024-2025 District and Campus Improvement Plans
Consider and Approve Resolution for Candidates for the 2025 Denton CAD Board of Directors

Our next regular board meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 16, 2024, when the Board of Trustees will consider for approval the middle and high school attendance zones. The public portion of all regular board meetings begins at 6 p.m. All regular board meetings and special board meetings with action items are live-streamed, recorded, and available on demand. Special meetings with no action and board workshops are also recorded.
