REMINDERS FROM THE NURSE
Students are not allowed to bring cough drops or peppermint candies to school. A Physician order is needed for all over the counter type of medicine. The Medication Administration form can be obtained on the district website. Physicians must complete and sign the top portion and parents need to sign the bottom portion before any medications are given. You should not be sending any medications to school in backpacks. Please drop off the medications along with the completed MA form to the Health Office.
If your child is injured and cannot participate in PE/Recess, please call the Health Office to inform the Nurse of the situation. A physician note with all restrictions is required for the child’s safety. We will do our best to meet our students needs but need to have the information to do so. A release will need to be obtained before the child can return without restrictions. We will always encourage students to go outside for recess for some “fresh air”.
CHEERS FOR OUR ROOM PARENTS!
Our Davis Richmond Parents outdid themselves in planning for the Fall Parties. We greatly appreciate all the preparations for making our day a celebration! Thanks to our parents who came to enjoy the parade. Our pumpkins and goblins love the audience!
MONSTER MASH – A SPOOKTACULAR EVENT!
Thanks to our PTO for providing a fun family event to celebrate the season. Our students so enjoyed the music, the games, the treats, and their friends!

CARE Meetings November: Gratitude
Our CARE (Creating a Respectful Environment) focus for November is Gratitude. Numerous studies have investigated the benefits of feeling and expressing gratitude. It has been linked to increased well-being: happiness and kindness.
Students will express their gratitude at school with a variety of activities. Many of these activities will be made visible in our school and we invite you to look for them when you visit for parent teacher conferences. We are so grateful for our wonderful students, staff and parents that make Richmond a wonderful place to learn.
