A Note from RMS PTSO:
Hello Riverwatch families –
A HUGE thank you to our families that have already donated to PTSO. Throughout the month of August, we will provide updates on PTSO donations and grade level participation.
At the close of open house, we had 46 Riverwatch families supporting PTSO.
Current family donation participation rates:
6th grade – 5% of students
7th grade – 2% of students
8th grade -2% of students
Teachers – 77% of teachers
At the end of August, the students in the grade level with the highest percentage of families donating to PTSO will receive an ice cream treat. If 75% of students in a grade level donate, we will be able to provide a treat to all students in that grade (if less than 75% of families donate, the treat will only be for those students whose families donated).
Visit the PTSO website at DONATE TODAY.
As a reminder, your membership fee is a tax-deductible donation to the RMS PTSO (a 501c3), and is eligible for corporate matching programs if your organization offers that. Membership does not obligate you to attend meetings, volunteer your time, or fund subsequent activities this school year. Thank you for your help in contributing to Riverwatch.

#RMStheGOLDstandard Spotlight!
Over the summer, RMS hosted a 6th Grade Robotics Camp! It was for rising 6th graders new to robotics and hosted by Alliance robotics team members and our own 7th grade student, Aryaman Dhanjal. Students learned to build and program robots to compete in this year's competition, Rapid Relay. We ended the week with a competition full of catapulting robots!
