This is Mr. Hawkins, Principal of Viers Mill Elementary School, with our weekly Sunday message. We look forward to having all of our students and staff participate in our Winter Spirit Week as we head into Winter Break and the end of 2024! Ms. Riley will also lead Winter Sing-Along assemblies in the afternoon of Friday, December 20 with our students. Please check out the different themes for each day in the pictures above. The Viers Mill Holiday Shoppe Returns December 16-19

Our Viers Mill ES staff is continuing with our annual Holiday Shoppe tradition this year! Between December 16-19, all students will have the opportunity to visit our school's Holiday Shoppe to pick out one donated gift (which will then be wrapped) to give as a present to a family member.

REMINDER: Traffic and Pedestrian Safety

Please remember to obey all posted signs throughout our neighborhood. We continue to have vehicles park illegally on Joseph Mill Road (southbound side) and enter our staff parking lot (typically during "walker" drop-off and pick-up). Also, please stop at all stop signs and follow directions from our crossing guard, Ms. Gage, and other staff to ensure that our students safely arrive and leave from school.

New MCPS Food Menu Website
