Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! We are thrilled to welcome our students and families to the new school year at Lawrenceville Elementary School. Our school-wide theme for this year is, “Creative Thinkers, Bold Leaders.” Essential leadership qualities include problem solving skills, showing kindness and respect towards others, and growing into confident individuals who can think and reason about the world around them. Through rigorous academic and social emotional goals, we aim to foster these skills in all students. We are excited to partner with you to make this school year a successful and enriching experience for your child.
School begins on Thursday, September 5th at 8:45 a.m. K-3 students should arrive by 8:40 a.m. and not before 8:15 a.m. as no supervision is provided. School will dismiss at 3:30 p.m. PreK students should arrive by 8:25 a.m. and will dismiss at 2:30 p.m. Students are to be picked up promptly at dismissal.
Mark your calendars for our Back to School Night on Thursday, September 19th from 6-8PM. Additional details will follow soon.
Arrival procedures for K-3 are as follows: Bus students will be greeted at the Phillips Avenue entrance (Door 2) and monitored as they move into the all-purpose room. Please be patient with the bus routes and drivers the first two weeks of school as it takes time to develop a consistent routine. Walkers and car riders will arrive at the Craven Lane entrance (Door 11) across from the main entrance. Faculty members will be on duty to assist students to the all-purpose room. To ensure a smooth transition, parents/guardians are not permitted to accompany students inside the school. Students will be supervised in class lines within the all-purpose room.
Please note that the Transportation Department will NOT be mailing out bus passes. You may print your pass through your Genesis Parent Portal when they become available.
