SUCCESSFUL SCIENCE FUN NIGHT
Successful Science Fun Night!
We're thrilled to announce that our recent Elementary Science Fun Night (March 6, 2024) was an absolute blast! Elementary students in grades 2-5 were able to work through the wonders of science that left them buzzing with excitement. From chemical reactions to magical work with light and magnets, the hands-on experiments captivated audiences of all ages. Participants discovered the joy of scientific exploration!
Grade 6 students in the Mount Pleasant Middle School STEMbassadors hosted the fun, interactive evening event at a packed house! Mrs. Kim Nicolette (Grade 6 Science Teacher) and Dr. Dorian Gemellaro (PreK-6 Supervisor of Science) worked with students to create and organize hands-on activities that would get the younger students excited about science. STEMbassadors were able to explain the science behind their activity so the younger students learned…while having a great, hands-on, scientific time!!
The following MPM student STEMbassadors volunteered their time and efforts to this event: Nandini Bhatt, Tanvika Prasanth, Siana Lokre, Mishika Srivastava, Kaitlyn Lee, Izzy Glynn, Sofia Sutaria, Priyal Gandhi, Vivian Lee, Junheon Choi, Avni Shetty, Anushka Nikhil, Nivi Karthik, Fiona Tidey, Summer Ruderman, Pranav Atreya, Felix Zwierlein, Agya Patney, Prashvita Prasad, Ariana Bhattacharya, Ariana Perez, William Wang, Reyansh Kalidindi, Zachary Sun, Syon Luthria, Shreyan Saxena, Kashika Gupta, Aadya Mehta, Anaya Desai, Vihana Shah, Aiden Cherian, Caio Oliveira De Oliveira, Ria Jhaver, Nakshita Gupta, Devika Dhanesh, David Chuven, Tanish Reikhy, Matthew Aronow, Michael Crawford, Ethan Fischer, William Valderrama, and Eitan Bornstein.
