Thank you for attending Student-Led Conferences!
We have concluded our spring Student-Led Conferences! Thank you to all of our families for supporting your students and upholding your commitment to participating in key engagement opportunities like SLCs. We hope you enjoyed the chance to check in with your student's advisor, and hear your student lead a conversation about their learning. Please stay in communication with your student and their advisor about any next steps that were discussed for supporting your student's academic and social-emotional success.
Please save the date for our next major student presentations, which will be our end of semester Exhibitions during the week of May 27! We will see you back at the Met for your student's Exhibition!

COMMUNITY NEWS
And Then There Were None - a smashing success!
The ALL-MET production of "And Then There Were None" was a huge success last weekend, with a large number of Met students, staff, and families in attendance to support our student thespians. This inaugural production through our partnership with Innovation Family Community Theater will not soon be forgotten. Check out the IFCT website for upcoming shows. Perhaps you would like to join the next community show?
SCHOOLWIDE NEWS
Pickleball! Brought to you by the SD Met Foundation!
Thanks to our SD Met Foundation for supporting our school with the purchase of pickleball supplies! This has allowed us to offer a fun and healthy way for students to get some exercise and build community. Pickleball is available for all students on Fridays at lunch and after school. This is another example of how our Foundation uses YOUR donations to make a positive impact on the lives of our students. If you would like to support our Foundation, please go to this link. Thank you!
PSAT for Class of 2026 (10th graders)
We strongly encourage all 10th graders to take the PSAT free of charge on Thursday, April 11 (note the new date!) from 9AM - 12 PM here at the Met. 10th grade parents - please reach out to your student's advisor if you would like your student to participate! Again, the PSAT is completely FREE, thanks to the support of our school district, and it is an opportunity to gain valuable practice with the SAT testing format.
ACTION ITEM! California School Parent Survey (CSPS) closes on Mar. 29!
This is a reminder to please complete the CSPS by Fri, Mar. 29! We are pushing for as many of our Met families to complete this survey as possible, as it provides us with highly valuable data about your experiences and perspectives regarding the climate of our school and overall wellness.
Each year, parents and guardians are asked to participate in the California School Parent Survey, as part of our district’s work toward supporting social-emotional learning and mental health in our school community. Your participation is an important part of how we gather data that can inform our school practices to improve the educational experience of every student. Please click on this link to take the survey. The survey closes on Fri, March 29. Thank you for your support!
ACTION ITEM! Please submit the New Facts for Parents Form in PowerSchool by April 5!
