Principal Message

Hello Seahawks! Last week our students participated in our monthly cultural day. Students created face masks, harpoon tips, and used traditional fabric to sew clothing. The students with excellent academics and behavior were invited to our monthly SOAR Game Room and we also hosted a JV Basketball home game. Congratulations to our 2nd, 4th, and 6th grade students for having a 90% or higher attendance rate last month. All three classes were rewarded at our the Attendance Matters: Bounce House Gym event.
We are halfway through the school year and we are now entering testing season. For the next few weeks our students will be completing their WIDA and YPQC testing. We are asking for all students to come to school on time and prepared to test. This month is also Black History Month. Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in U.S. history. Throughout this month our students will have the opportunity to learn more about the the triumphs and struggles of African Americans throughout U.S. history.
