BES Principal Newsletter
December 13th, 2024
Good evening BES families!
I hope this break offers you and your family time to be together and enjoy the holiday festivities to recharge for the new year! The BES Principal Newsletter will return in January 2025. This year, the elementary did not participate in spirit dress up days as we are working to keep the focus on learning this month and hoping to decrease behaviors that tend to skyrocket at this time of year. Elementary students have classroom parties during the school day to celebrate the holidays on our last day before break on December 20th. We will return on Monday, January 6th for a full day of school.
A big THANK YOU to Spencer P. for his donation to our Adopt-A-Book Program! He selected an awesome non-fiction book on Iceland to add to our elementary library for students to enjoy for years to come! Interested in helping get more hardcover, library bound books in the hands of our Eagles?! $20 purchases one book to be processed for circulation in our library. Send in cash or check to the office (made payable to Byron Area Schools) and get featured in our newsletters and/or our Eagles Pride Quarterly Publication!
As always, please reach out to our staff if you have any questions or concerns. Don't forget to check out Mrs. Howard's Nurse's Notes below! We want to thank you for your continued partnership with Byron Elementary!
Educationally Yours,
Mrs. Johnson
