Hello from the Principal's Desk
A Note From The Principal's Desk,
Hello parents! As we move into October, I hope that you feel like you are getting into a rhythm for your school year. If you still need some advice and tricks of the trade be sure to reach out to your sponsor teacher for ideas. And, speaking of amazing teachers to reach out to, on October 8th parents of those students that tested in the "far below" range on the MClass assessment will be receiving a letter informing them of that. There is good news however! If your child tested far below in reading on the MClass, Ms. Foust, our AMAZING reading specialist will be reaching out to you. Anyone that knows Ms. Foust, knows that she is such a fun, kind and supportive teacher and she is here all for YOU! She will be reaching out to you to see how she can come along side you and equip you to be the best reading teacher you can be...its like you get a second sponsor teacher for free who is there to help you, encourage you and walk with you through the reading journey. She will be inviting you to special training events, do sample lessons for you...in short she will be like your very own professional development guru at your fingertips. Be sure to take advantage of all that she has to offer.
On another note, the fall testing drawing will be coming soon! If you take the time to have a meeting with your sponsor teacher to go over the results from the MClass or MAP assessments, you will get one more entry into the drawing! We will be giving away an IPad, Legos, Hoodies, sports equipment and more! The drawing will be done in late October after the second quarter begins.
Keep up the hard work helping your children reach their potential!
