Mustang Messenger
2024-2025 Community Newsletter 4th Edition (November)
Fellow Mustangs,
As we enter this season of gratitude, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for your unwavering support and dedication to your child's education. Your hard work, commitment, and trust mean the world to us, and we are honored to be part of your children's educational journey.
At City View, we truly believe in the power of community. We are in this together, like one big family, and it is our goal to foster a sense of unity and togetherness, both in good times and in challenging ones. It’s your engagement and connection that make City View a great place to learn and grow.
As we move through November, I encourage each of us to take time to express gratitude to those around us—whether it's a kind word to a teacher, a note to a fellow parent, or a moment with your child. Let's spread positivity in good and bad moments. Give the benefit of the doubt and assume the BEST. Together, we are shaping a bright future for our students.

Building Resilience: Regular attendance teaches your child the value of perseverance and responsibility—essential skills for success in life.
Stronger Friendships: Daily presence helps your child develop and sustain friendships, which are crucial for emotional and social development.
Healthy Routine: Attending school every day establishes a stable routine, promoting better mental and physical health.

Transportation
Transportation Website Information
Go to our website https://www.cityview-isd.net/o/cves and click on the transportation button in the middle of the screen. This will have the Bus google form as well as a map with bus route information. This is still a work in progress. We are hoping to be done soon.
If you are making same day transportation changes with your child, please contact your child's teacher and please do so before 2:00pm. We will only accept emergency transportation changes after 2pm and those will need to go through the front office with our Secretary Ms. Stone.
If you have to making a change for transportation in advance please contact your child's teacher through the parent square app, writing a parent note, phone call, or email.
* NEW : Buses leave the school around 6:50am. Depending on what students are riding the routes each morning/afternoon will determine pick up/drop off times. Please arrive at the bus stop early enough for pick up/drop off. Margin of error on pick up/drop off can be anywhere from 5-8 minutes. Please remain patient with us. Parents are responsible for their children at all bus stops.

If you have children that are being picked up at two different times, please park in the lot west of the pickup line closest to City View Drive or drive through the pick up line twice. Please do not remain parked in the pickup line.
