We had a really great week at school celebrating Pi Day, St. Patrick's Day, finishing up a great basketball season, and having guest author's work with our staff and students. I'm going to sound like a broken record, but I want to thank all those involved, because all the extra work from our staff and families are what provides these amazing experiences for our students.

Thank you for reminding your child(ren) at home to stay focused in school, especially since in grades 3-8 we are gearing up towards state testing in a little bit over a month. We have one more full week of school until spring break and we'll make sure to have every day count before a nice break.

Finally, good luck to our wrestlers competing in an end of the season regional tournament at BDHS tomorrow!

The Nokesville School will holding its first school-wide Literacy Night on Tuesday, March 19, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. All families are invited to attend. We will have activities for students in all grade levels, including guest readers from the community, students sharing their work, family literacy fun—and more! We even have some books and other prizes to give away. Please join us on the 19th!

*Literacy Night is for families, and not a drop-off event, so students should be accompanied by their parents/guardians.

5th Grade is holding a Chick Fil A Spirit night on Thursday, March 21st from 4-7pm to raise funds for our field trip and end of year picnic. I put one master copy of the flier in your mailboxes and am attaching the flier to this email if you'd like to attend or share with your families. Thank you for considering!!

BDHS Cheer is ending their 2023-24 season, but are preparing to start up for 2024-25. Current seventh graders and current eighth graders can tryout for cheer for next year. Their tryout meeting is required for both parents and potential cheerleaders and is April 2 at 5:30 pm in the BDHS auditorium. Tryouts will then be held April 17-20.
