Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! To our new families, we are excited that you are joining our Falcon Family. To our returning families, we cannot wait to see you! As we begin to gear up for the new school year, I wanted to ensure that you have as much information as possible.

Returning Falcons: Lake Dallas ISD's On-Line Returning Student registration has been extended to Friday, August 4. To register your student, please log in to Family Access to complete the registration for your student.

Come meet your SSE Principal and Assistant Principal: Mrs. Bryant and Mrs. Stevenson.

Mrs. Bryant and Mrs. Stevenson will be ready to meet students and their families on Monday, August 5, from 5:00-6:00 pm on the SSE playground.

Come enjoy a popsicle, play on the playground, and say hello. We hope to see you next Monday evening!

Shady Shores Elementary will host a Meet the Teacher event on Monday, August 12. The event will last from 5-7 p.m. and is come and go.

• Families with last names starting with A-L will attend from 5-6 p.m.
• Families with last names starting with M-Z will attend from 6-7 p.m.

Meet the Teacher is a great time to sign up for your P.T.A. membership and purchase spirit shirts. You will also be able to pick up car tags to be used in the car lines at dismissal and put money on your child's cafeteria account for additional items.

Here is the link to access SSE school supply lists: https://www.ldisd.net/Page/1731 Families are encouraged to bring their school supply items to Meet the Teacher Night. It's one less thing to have to think about on the first day of school!

All parents and guardians of elementary students will be able to view their students’ teachers beginning Monday, Aug. 12. These will be accessible in Skyward Family Access.

If you need assistance with your login on August 12, please contact Alice and Trina in the SSE front office at 940-497-4035 and they will be able to assist you. With this access, you will be able to add money to your child's cafeteria account, check grades, view progress reports, report cards, and their attendance.

We LOVE having dads, grandpas, uncles, etc... at SSE during our day! To be a WATCH D.O.G.S., you can volunteer many times or even just 1 day. We appreciate extra help in our car line in the mornings and at lunch. Or volunteer on your child's birthday and make their day extra special!
