HES Weekly Update

Hello Highland Elementary families,

Want to skip back-to-school shopping this summer? You can order a school supply

kit for a limited time with all the supplies your student will need for their upcoming

school year.

1. Go here before July 15 and select your child’s upcoming grade:

2. Each kit includes everything required, with the exception of a few things,

like their backpack.

3. Check out using a credit/debit card.

4. Consider adding a donation at checkout. Impacks will match the first $5, and all

funds will go to supporting our school.

5. The supplies will be shipped directly to Highland Elementary.

Please join us as we celebrate our 5th Graders moving to the middle school. Celebration will begin at 9:00 at Davidson Park.

Kinder & 1st Grade - 9:00-1:00

2nd Grade & 3rd Grade - 1:00 - 3:00

4th & 5th Grade - 9:00-11:00

We’re excited to celebrate a year full of growth and achievement with some water slide fun! To participate in the slip & slide, all students must have a signed permission slip.

Thank you for a great year in Preschool

We’re so excited for our 3rd graders to head out on their annual fishing trip! This is always a memorable adventure filled with fun, learning, and a little outdoor magic. We can’t wait to hear all about their big catches!

Join us for our Annual Talent Show from 9:00–11:00 AM! Come cheer on our amazing 3rd–5th grade students as they take the stage and share their unique talents. It’s always a fun and inspiring event—we hope to see you there!

Students will be dismissed at 12:40

Please call the office no later than 3:15 PM for any after-school messages. This ensures we have enough time to deliver messages to students before dismissal.

First bell rings at 7:55 ~ Tardy Bell rings at 8:00*

Learning begins at 8:00*

Students who arrive after 8:00 must be signed in by a parent or guardian in the front office.

All visitors must have a valid ID and check in at the front office. This includes parents who walk students into the building and want to stay past the 8:00 bell.
