Hello, Curington Families!

We are proud of our students for continuing to show great pride in our school every day! This past Friday, we had our school-wide assembly called Celebrate Curington. This is a way to bring our campus community together to celebrate our school, our students and staff! We were able to recognize student leaders, and we also met our Fun Friday campus-wide attendance incentive! Anytime our school has 96% or higher, we get to add a letter to our Fun Friday phrase. Our first level was crazy hat day, and you can see some pictures below of some creative hats!

We invite you to wear cultural attire as we kick off Hispanic Heritage Month. Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrated from September 15 to October 15, recognizes the contributions, culture, and history of Hispanic and Latino Americans in the United States. The dates are significant because they coincide with the independence anniversaries of several Latin American countries, including Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua (September 15), Mexico (September 16), and Chile (September 18).

Way to go, CES Cougars, for supporting our attendance-wide campus goal! Our campus goal for Average Daily Attendance is 96% daily or higher. We completed our first FUN FRIDAY phrase this past Friday and our kids had Crazy Hat Day! Our current average daily attendance is 97.20%! Let's continue to stay above our goal!!!

Get ready for a week full of fun and friendly competition! We’re excited to announce our PTO Color War Challenge, where each grade will battle it out! Bring your spare change to help support CES yearly Walk-A-Thon. Every bit helps, and the grade level that collects the most will get to choose their color of this year's “WAT” t-shirt!

Boerne High School will host its annual Homecoming Parade on Monday, September 16 at 6:30pm. There will be a full road closure on Blanco Rd. from Main St. to Esser Rd. from 6-7pm. (Please see the map below of the parade route). Following the parade, there will be a Community Pep Rally at Boerne ISD Stadium.

The Greyhounds will host East Central in their Homecoming Football game on Friday, September 20 at 7pm at Boerne ISD Stadium.

We would like to invite anyone interested in tutoring, volunteering, crossing guard after school opportunity or becoming a Dad on Duty to contact our school or email our principal's secretary (Celia.Moreno@Boerneisd.net) for more information. All visitors must have completed a volunteer background from which can be found in our Boerne ISD website page.

7:00 a.m.- Cafeteria Doors Open for Breakfast (All students will enter through our cafeteria doors between 7:00-7:33 a.m. After 7:33 a.m., students will enter the school through the front office.
