Happy Friday! Don't forget, our annual Santa Social will be tomorrow, Saturday, December 7th, from 10a-2p. This year, along with our Santa Social, we will also be featuring a car show and boutique. We hope to see you there!

El Modena's Feeder School Night: On Wednesday, December 11th, at 4p, El Modena High School welcomes Santiago Middle School to their feeder night, featuring a performance of the musical Beauty and the Beast by their talented Visual and Performing Arts program. Enjoy this evening at a discounted price of $10 for students and $15 for their families. Tickets will be available at the door. This is a great opportunity to connect with the El Modena community and experience the creativity and talent of their high school.

Gift Card Drive: We have had a great start to our Holiday Gift Card Drive - Thank you to all of the families that have already contributed! Just a reminder, we will be collecting donated gift cards until next Friday, December 13th. We are collecting gift cards (increments of $10 or more) to distribute to our Santana families that can benefit from a little extra help during the holiday season. Our goal is to gift at least 20 families in need with about $100 worth of gift cards to make their holiday a little merrier. Donated gift cards can be dropped off at the front office. Students who donate a gift card of at least $10 will earn a free dress wristband to be used on Friday, December 20th.

Travel Opportunity: Santiago and El Rancho Charter MS students and families are invited to an educational tour of Ireland and Scotland during Spring Break of 2026! Explore amazing locations like Dublin, Edinburgh, the Giant's Causeway, and Loch Ness on this 10-day adventure led by experienced group leaders. Our Expanded Learning Program (ELP) runs Monday-Thursday, starting right after school and goes until 5:30pm. If you have any questions, concerns or want to report an absence from ELP, please reach out to our ELP Coordinator, Laura Ontiveros, at lontiveros@orangeusd.org or 657-562-7103.

Everyday, Santanas are expected to follow the guidelines for our campus. For clarification of these expectations and what we will be discussing with students the first week of school, please click here.
