Dear Page School Community,

This week, we celebrated all of our incredible staff as part of Teacher Appreciation Week. Every member of our team plays a vital role in making Page a welcoming, supportive, and inspiring place to learn and grow.

A huge thank you to the WNPTO for making the week extra special—with breakfast, lunch, ice cream sundaes, and coffee gift cards! My personal favorite? The Chinese food on Wednesday—delicious!

We’re so grateful for everything our staff does each and every day. Thank you for your dedication, heart, and hard work!

The West Newbury Select Board is pleased to present the Assessment Report for the John C. Page Elementary School Conditions Assessment. Completion of this assessment was funded by an Annual Town Meeting article in 2022 and is intended to guide decision making by West Newbury residents and municipal leadership regarding the future of the Page School. The report can be found in the link below:

In addition to providing this Conditions Assessment Report to West Newbury residents, the Select Board will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 6pm at the Page School to present the results of this assessment and to solicit feedback from residents about next steps. The opportunity to take a virtual 3D tour of Page School to view the existing conditions identified in the report will also be provided. With these resources, as well as your input, the Select Board believes that we will able to make informed and cost-effective decisions about the necessary repairs to the Page School over the next few years while we implement a long-term plan for the future of elementary education in West Newbury.
