November 8, 2024
Hello Spicewood Families,
Thank you for a great week. Our students and staff are working hard each day to make progress on our academic goals. Speaking of goals, our Panthers earned their first School-Wide Acknowledgment for the year by filling up our big S in the main hallway. If you are not sure what this means ask your Panther for more information. Students are currently voting on their reward!
Have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Melanie Solis

Olson Crosswalk Safety
For the safety of all students, we kindly remind you to follow the posted signs on Olson, which state that there is no parking or stopping near the Olson Crosswalk between 7:00-9:00 AM and 2:00-4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
We strongly encourage you to use the circle drive for drop-offs and pick-ups, as there is no crossing guard stationed at the Olson Crosswalk. Additionally, using the designated drop-off line helps maintain a smooth flow of traffic and reduces delays caused by pedestrian crossings through the morning car line.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our drop-off area safe and efficient for everyone.
Nurse's Note

Please drop off the Outdoor School Medication and forms at the nurse's office if you are planning to send any medication to the Outdoor School. Prescribed medication as well as over the counter medication need a doctor's signature. Due date is November 15th, Friday. You can find all the related information from your classroom teacher's email. Please don't hesitate to contact Nurse Sam if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you so much.

Spicewood PTA Thanksgiving Potluck – November 13th
We are excited to host our first annual Thanksgiving Potluck for the Spicewood teachers and staff! After hearing how much they enjoyed the variety of dishes at our One World One Night event, we’re inviting parents to contribute a special dish from your family to share. The PTA will provide turkey and ham from Rudy’s, but we’d love your favorite sides to make the meal complete. Thank you for helping us celebrate and appreciate our amazing staff!
We are THANKFUL for our Teachers
Let's show our amazing teachers how THANKFUL we are for all they do as they head into a well-deserved Thanksgiving break! 🎉🍂
We are hosting a Thanksgiving Pie + HEB Gift Card Drive, with the goal of giving one to each staff member as a sweet token of appreciation.
You can make it easy by ordering a pie online through Triumphant Love - Teacher Pies, and they’ll deliver it directly to the school for us! Just order by November 15 and help us make this Thanksgiving extra special!
P.S. If you order online, please remember to update the SignUp Genius with the number of pies you ordered!
