What made you want to become a tutor?
During my time at NMC, I saw how the different services that Project PROA provided helped other students succeed with their academic and personal goals. I wanted to be part of that and help other students like myself.
What are the benefits to having a mentor or tutor?
You have a better understanding of the course, and you gain a friend who can help guide you.
One thing you are excited for this year?
I'm excited to meet new people and attend the different activities NMC offers.

What made you become a tutor?
Being the oldest in my family, I've gotten used to doing things on my own. Although it did help me grow as a student, I was constantly lost and unsure of every step I took. The tutoring services that Project PROA provided were really helpful, and I wanted to find a way to give it back.
What are the benefits to having a mentor or tutor?
Mentors and tutors want to support your college journey academically, emotionally, or mentally. If you are struggling in anyway, we are always here to assist you!
One thing you are excited for this year?
I'm hoping to become a version of myself that I can be proud of at the end of the year!

What made you become a tutor?
I wanted to become a tutor to have a different work experience and to help others.
What are the benefits to having a mentor or tutor?
The benefits you get by having a mentor/tutor is you get academic help and build a friendship. As a tutor, I'm not only here to help you with your studies, but I am also here to just listen and be there for you.
One thing you are excited for this year?
I am excited for the Nursing Entrance Exam!

Career Services at the Northern Marianas College serves all current students and graduates in their career development, managing student employment, offering job and networking opportunities. Services and programs provided by Career Services were designed to complement the college's academic programs by helping meet student career development and employment needs before and after graduation.
Career Services offers the following:
- Career counseling and guidance;
- Explore majors and careers;
- Kuder Journey- Career Assessment, Career and Education Planning, and Career Development;
- Enrichment workshops, activities, and events: resume builder and cover letter writing, interview preparation, mini career far series, mock interviews, mixers, seminars, etc,;
- Job search tools and resources;
- Student Employment and Internship Programs;
- Coordinate on-campus Federal Work Study positions;
- Outreach and awareness, and more.

Are there any goals for Career Services this upcoming semester?
A highlighted goal is to purchase and implement a career services management platform. I am also looking forward to more Career Fridays, workshops, and presentation!
