Embracing Culturally Responsive Practice in School Libraries by Elisabet Kennedy
What do culturally-responsive practices look like in a school library, and how can we apply the National School Library Standards for Learners, School Librarians, and School Libraries to this work? Join us as we think about how our values, beliefs, and interests inform our work with our community, determine actionable steps to implement in our library spaces, consider external and internal factors that will affect how we apply culturally-responsive principles, and explore options for self- and administrative evaluation methods to guide our practice.
Participants can earn 4 SCECHs based on the activities you complete.
