With October upon us so is the middle of the first marking period already. Interim Reports are scheduled to be available in Genesis on Monday afternoon at 3:00pm. As always check Genesis regularly so that you are on top of your academic goals for the year. Reach out to your teachers and take advantage of after school study hall as needed.

This week students in grades 10th and 11th grade will be taking the PSAT. There will be a delayed opening for non-testing students. Thank you to everyone for your cooperation in Friday afternoons infrastructure test.

We are a month in and the new lunch procedures seem to be going well! We have opened up some of the flexible eating locations to our Sophomore class. Thank you to everyone for doing your part. Make sure that you continue to clean your eating areas so that we can continue this open lunch.

Spirit week is here!! (See breakdown below). Get involved and enjoy the different themes your student council organized. We are looking forward the end of the week Pep Rally, Bleacher Decorations, and Homecoming! Have fun! GO TITANS!!

On Thursday, October 10th our Sophomore and Junior classes will be taking the PSAT/NMSQT here at the High School. There is a delayed opening scheduled for that morning for non-testing students. Grades 10 and 11 are to report at the regular time of 7:30 am. Grades 9 and 12 report to school at 9:05 am.

It is essential that students arrive to school on time on test day with a charged computer. This test is an opportunity for students to assess their skills and preparation level for college and career. The PSAT/NMSQT is the qualifying test for entry to the National Merit Scholarship Program. The test also connects to College Board programs and services that can propel students to opportunities they have earned. It is important to also note that the PSAT/NMSQT is a secondary High School Graduation Assessment Pathway. If a students meets the designated cut score this assessment can count for their Graduation Assessment requirement as long as they sat for the NJGPA.

If your grades are not where you want them to be, please take advantage of our Study hall. Starting next week Monday - Friday students can come to the Study Hall for a place to get some extra help or just a quiet spot to get work done.
