The Region Audition is Saturday, October 26th at TMHS. This is a major event that we host and we will be needing a lot of student and parent help to ensure everything runs smoothly. More information will be coming on future newsletters on what you can do to help!

Our students did amazing at the TASA Conference on Friday! All of our students worked incredibly hard for the past few months to get this performance to where it is! Congratulations and we are so proud of you!

Our first formal concert is coming up in just over a week! Please make sure you have October 8th on your calendar as our Fall concert date. Concert will begin at 7:00pm and student tentative call time is 5:45pm.

As a reminder, concerts are like our unit exams and are considered curricular. All students are expected to be in attendance and will receive 4 major grades for the concert as described below:

Performance
Attire (hair, dress/tux items, chorale pearls, black dress shoes/flats for girls)

Students are welcome to stay after school for the concert if they do not have a ride back to school.

All Sopranos and Altos may begin taking their uniforms home on Monday. Tenors and Basses will be able to take their uniforms home beginning on Tuesday.

Rock the Block is this Wednesday, October 2nd! Students are encouraged to attend and rock the block with us, but this is not a required event! Seniors and officers will be in the trailer (fitting as many as possible), but you don't have to ride if you don't want to!

Our float theme this year is Mamma Mia!

If you are on the float, students should try to dress up in 70s themed attire and flashy (think Donna and the Dynamos)! Students who are walking can dress up in Mamma Mia inspired outfits (think beachy, white and blue colors)! See photos below for inspiration.

Roads will close at 5:30pm, so all students wishing to participate should be at TMHS around 5:00pm. We will be in the choir room until the float is ready and then we will walk to the athletic side of the building where the parade will begin. The parade will start at 6:00pm and will be followed by a Pep Rally at the TMHS football field. Chorale will sing the national anthem.

Shoutout to The Rials' for letting us borrow their truck and trailer! We are so grateful!

The homecoming football game is on Friday, October 4 at the TISD Stadium! Come out and support Chorale and Varsity Football!

The homecoming dance is Saturday, October 5! To those attending, be safe and have fun!

THE CHOIR FAIR SHARE FEE FOR THE 2024-25 SCHOOL YEAR IS $53.75. Payments will be paid through schoolcashonline. This amount will help to cover such items as uniform rental, altering, launder/dry-cleaning, postage for mail-outs, Copies, Folders, Choir T-Shirt, Choir Polo, Choir water thermos, and other necessary items.

If you have not paid your class fee you should have received an email from us yesterday afternoon!

I you have not turned in your contract and deposit, you may turn your forms in on Monday. There are still 10 spots available if you are interested! If you are wishing to go as a chaperone but cannot make the first deposit, please let us know via email!

Parent chaperones can make their payments using the same link as student payments, but please indicate who the payment is for under "recipient name". For student payments, please put your student's name under "recipient name"

If your student is allowed to travel with us, please print, read, sign and return the hard copy to Choir. No digital forms of the contract can be allowed this year. Only the signed last page of the contract is needed.

Copies are available in the Choir room.

Please be aware that students must be academically and attendance eligible to travel on the spring trip.

All schoolcashonline payments will have an additional service charge that does not count toward the payment. For example, the initial deposit is $100, but has a $5 service charge. Also be aware that the initial deposit is non-refundable and monies paid for the rest of the trip cannot be refunded after the December 15th payment, unless you are able to sell your trip for full price.

If you have missed a payment you can make multiple payments via the schoolcash link below. You are also welcome to send in a check or cash.

$25.00 Donation - Booster Supporters will receive slideshow recognition at our concerts.

$50.00 Donation - Silver Supporters will receive two reserved seats to the winter concert and slideshow recognition at our concerts.

$100.00 Donation - Navy Supporters will receive four reserved seats to all concerts and slideshow recognition at our concerts.

$250.00 Donation - Wildcatter Supporters will receive four tickets to Pop Show, four reserved seats to all concerts, and slideshow recognition at our concerts.

Section of the Week is back! Each week we select a section in each class that has done an outstanding job throughout the week. At the end of the year, we will add up all of the sections and whoever has won section of the week the most in each class will receive a donut party!
