* What a great first week of school! Our staff and students worked hard all week and we appreciate the opportunity to teach your student. Shout-out to all families in the morning, we had very few tardies which allows us to start our learning day at 8am without disruptions. - Effective Tuesday (Week 2)...
- We ask that parents utilize the school bus, drop their child off via car-rider or walk their student to the main entrance. Near the main entrance, staff will be available if your child needs assistance getting into the school building and to their classroom. We do all this to maintain security and to start our learning day promptly at 8am.
- Students arriving between 7:30 and 7:45 will be directed to the Cafeteria. At 7:45am students will be released to their classrooms.
- Questions? Please contact Mr. Kirst or Officer Owen.
- Parking at BES is limited. For arrival and dismissal, please utilize car-rider, walking from off-campus or the bus.
- Parents with students in Pre K or EC Separate Setting are welcome to use our Elm Bend parking lot.
- Parents are welcome to use our main parking lot for official business (meeting, event, etc).
- Important upcoming dates...
- 9/2/24: Labor Day, No School
- 9/5/24: OPT Meeting, 3:30pm in the Outdoor Classroom. All parents, guardians, and staff are welcome.
- 9/9/24: FALL PICTURE DAY, see the flyer sent home with your student.
- 9/13/24: Back to School Picnic (during your student's regularly scheduled lunch)
- 9/17/24: School Improvement Team Meeting, 3:30pm Media Center
- 9/23/24: OPT Makers and Builders Night at Oskar Blues, 4-8pm
- Volunteering at BES!
