⏰ Reminder ~ there are Early Dismissals next week! ⏰ We will be hosting track meets at the High School on both of these days. 🏅🦅 THERE WILL BE NO ASP ON EITHER DAY AT WRE.

It is time to complete the final home visit for our 23-24 class of PK students! In order to streamline travel for the visits, we are wanting to schedule students living in Wood River on Tuesday, April 2nd, and those living in Alda or the country on Thursday, April 4th. If your assigned day does not work for you, please contact Mrs Cordova (jcordova@wrrsd.org) to arrange a time that does.

We are in concert season and the kids are very excited about everything we are working on. Our spring concert is Tuesday, May 7, 2024 - PLEASE NOTE THE DATE CHANGE. The K-2 students will start at 6:00pm that night, with grades 3-5 starting at 7:00pm. Each section is to arrive at the new gym 15 minutes before concert start time.

Looking for some fun summer enrichment activities for your kids? The University of Nebraska at Kearney is excited to bring curriculum-based summer camps to our community. We invite students entering grades 1-8 to join us on UNK’s campus for engaging and educational workshops. Loper Launch Campers (and their adults) can choose between our one-week themed workshops and academies. Countdown Hour is also available for those needing an early drop-off option. The 2024-2025 Preschool and Kindergarten registration nights are coming up! Mark your calendars and make sure to bring along any required documents for registering your child.

Scanned or photocopied birth certificates will not be accepted. The original, official document from the State of Nebraska (or other state of birth) with a raised seal must be provided. We will make copies in the office for our records, and return the original to you.
