Message from the Principal
Dear Parents/Guardians,
I’d like to extend a heartfelt Happy Mother’s Day to all of our amazing John F. Kennedy mothers. Your unconditional support is appreciated and we thank you for all that you do for our students.
I am overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who made Teacher Appreciation Week so special. Your support and celebration meant the world to our incredible educators.
Our campus and community was quite busy this week. A big thank you to all who warmly welcomed our Korean principals and superintendents for a learning walk. Their visit emphasized the importance of learning from one another to improve the quality of life here on campus for our amazing students. Additionally, our LCAP process for the year is now complete and thanks to your input and collaboration, the LCAP goals have been revised and updated. Thank you for participating in the LCAP process.
To our Seniors: As finals approach, believe in yourselves and your hard work. You've come so far, and we're here to support you all the way! I look forward to celebrating your success and achievements at graduation. Keep up the great work!
Warm regards,
Dr. Sidhu, Principal, John F. Kennedy High School

Every 15 Minutes
Recently, we had an impactful presentation on the epidemic of alcohol-related crashes here in the state of California. A disproportionate amount of those accidents AND those deaths involve teenagers. In collaboration with the La Palma Police Department, AUHSD Board of Trustees, Emergency Services, and Forest Home Memorial Center, we bring you this powerful presentation in order to shed light on this issue.
Construction
Parking Lot
Kennedy High School began a two-phase Solar Panel Project in the South (Student) Parking Lot. A portion of the South Parking Lot will be closed for 6-8 months. Therefore, student parking will be limited.
It is recommended that students are dropped off at school or carpool with other students. Thank you for your patience and we apologize for any inconvenience.
