PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Students have been busy in October with their classes and extracurricular activities. Mrs. Edey’s Drama Students spent a lot of time preparing for their performance: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Volleyball Players from Minis to Junior and Senior High kept on practicing, competing…and improving. Archery continued as well…with a staggering number of participants! Many Teachers utilized the Outdoor Classroom which will continue as long as the weather holds :) Mrs. Burgess had Jr High Foods Students cooking, baking and sewing. Grade 6 dug deep into the Pillars of Democracy during Social Studies. October really was a busy time!
November looks to be equally jam packed with a Book Fair in the Learning Commons, Basketball starting and so much impactful learning in every grade. Don’t worry though…there is a break on the horizon from November 11-15, 2024. This will provide an opportunity to relax and recharge. Thank you to all our Families, Businesses and Community for the ongoing support you provide Staff and Students at Central High Sedgewick Public School.
As always, please reach out to your Child’s Teacher(s) if you have questions or concerns. It is the best way to stay on top of things and to hear about the positives! Mr. Nickel (Assistant Principal) and I are also always available if you have questions.
Health and wellness to everyone!
Mr. Cowan
