Summer Landscaping Project
A Huge Thank You to Shaner Nursery, Spring Meadow Nursery, and the Cedar Springs Education Foundation!
We are incredibly grateful to Shaner Nursery (Mrs. Kara Morris) for the time, design, and effort put into our landscaping project! Thanks also to Spring Meadow Nursery for donating beautiful plants!
Our students proudly take ownership of their school through an annual landscaping initiative, enhancing the cafeteria area with their hard work and creativity. Special thanks to our helpers: Ezra, Ryan, Ian, Kaylee, Lexie, Jaidyn, Nathan, Alondra, Tiana, Noah, Mr. Matulis, Mrs. Paoni, and Mrs. Morris! Your dedication makes a difference!

Safety, Security, and K-9 sweeps
We are dedicated to ensuring the safety of our students and staff. With the support of Officer Price and Officer Jewell, we are committed to maintaining a secure environment. This includes occasional K-9 sweeps on our campus to enhance safety. Remember, student safety is our foremost priority.
For details on student guidelines that contribute to a secure and positive environment, please refer to our high school handbook. Together, we create a safe space for every student.
Post-Graduation Opportunities Informational Packets
The Michigan Department of Education (MDE) has partnered with the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) and other statewide stakeholders to develop the organization of resources on LEO’s Pathfinder resources page to comply with the requirements of MCL 380.1293 (Public Act 88 of 2022), post-graduation opportunities informational packet, which is now available.
Pathfinder is an online career exploration and planning tool to help increase the number of Michigan residents with high-quality, in-demand degrees and credentials by providing information to students to make informed choices about educational and career options. As such, it houses the compilation of resources and creates a centralized location for decision-making information.

For students who have not picked up their 2023-2024 yearbooks, students or immediate family members can pick up last year’s edition of The Hawk at the high school main office during office hours. A limited number of extra copies are available. Please email hsyearbook@csredhawks.org to be added to the order list for the 2023-2024 yearbook when $85 cash or check will be required at pick up.
